Audio spectrum analyzer software shows you a detailed picture of what you're hearing in real-time. There are several projects available in market for sale, but none had explained the FFT coding for the program run. However I decided to make one and the beauty of the project is the compact design with low end processor. The project is intended to run for 10 bands, current project runs with single band. I have designed the matrix display board for 100 Led's and programmed the microcontroller. Apart from Led's, the rest of the components were from the fabinventory. All the parts are supposed to be realised using FabLab equipments. The overall cost of the unit will less than $80. The processor used for this project is atmega328p. The project is evaluated based on the way it looks, the processes implemented while making it and finally the functionality of the end product.
